Circulair Warenhuis

The “Circulair Warenhuis” is an extension of Leidens thrift store “Het Warenhuis”. They use unwanted items from the thrift store and transform these into high quality goods. In collaboration with a selection of dutch designers they show what is possible with this stream of unused materials. This resulted in a wide variety of high quality products.

I was asked to make a photo reportage of the different workshops representing different materials: wood, textile and ceramics. This is where professionals, with the regular help of volunteers, create the products which can be seen on the website:
